USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Under cloudy skies and muddy conditions, 19 All-Americans and 2 teams from the Georgia Association emerged out of over 3,300 participants in age groups ranging from 7-18 at the 2017 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships, held Saturday at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Top 3 teams in each age division were recognized with award medals.
  • 8 & under girls, 2nd place team, Peachtree City Flash Youth Track Association
  • 15-18 boys, 3rd place team, Lanier Lightning Running Club A
The Top 25 individuals were awarded medals and All-American status. 

8 & Under Girls 2 km

  • 6th place - Myah Fowler - Jackrabbit Track & Field Running Club
  • 22nd place - Andi McQuade - Peachtree City Flash

8 & Under Boys 2 km

  • 18th place - Bo Colpaert - Etowah Youth Track Club
  • 19th place - William Malueg - Jefferson Parks & Recreation
  • 21st place - Jacob Grant - Alpha Crush Running Club

9-10 Boys 3 km

  • 5th place - Clark Thompson - Peachtree City Flash Youth Track Association

13-14 Boys 4 km

  • 3rd place - Justin Wachtel - Unattached

15-16 Girls 5 km

  • 8th place - Savannah Ledbetter - Unattached
  • 11th place - McKenna Trapheagen - Unattached

17-18 Women 5 km
