2023 USATF Georgia Winter Youth Meeting

1. The Annual Youth Meeting will be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 10am - 12pm. This meeting will be via Zoom.  
2. The Youth Committee heard from many of you on the qualifying requirements associated with our Area Meets. 
   • We voted to remove the Mandatory participation requirement for these meets. 
   • The Area Meets are now Developmental and are used to assist in preparing our youth for the Association and Region Championships. 
   • With that being said we strongly encourage you to continue to support and attend these meets as our member clubs who host put a lot of time and effort into ensuring they provide your athletes with a quality experience.
3. Area Developmental Meets will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 at the following Locations:
   • Area A: Villa Rica High School, 600 Rocky Branch Rd., Villa Rica, GA 30180
   • Area B: McDonough High School, 155 Post Master Dr., McDonough, GA 30253
4. The USATF Georgia Association Championship will be held June 22 - June 25 at Morrow High School, 4930 Steele Rd., Ellenwood, GA 30294.
5. USATF Region 4 Track and Field Championship, July 6 - July 9, Tentative, Miramar FL.
