Event Entry Fee (plus applicable service charges):

  • $30.00 per registrant until July 18 11:59 pm (t-shirt size guaranteed registration deadline)
    • Register before this deadline to guarantee a t-shirt in the size you want!
  • $35.00 per registrant until August 1 5:00 pm (registration deadline)
    • See information Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up below, where you can register AND pick-up your bib number the day before the race!
  • $40.00 per registrant for race day registration

Notes

  • Registration via RunSignUp in the "USATF Georgia Association 5K Championships" division is required to be in the USATF Georgia 5K Championship division. A current USATF Membership number is required for registration.
  • This championship is held in conjunction with the Mustard Seed 5K. All proceeds from this event will benefit Mustard Seed Communities.
  • USATF Georgia 5k Championship Age divisions: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+.
    • These are USATF age divisions and differ from the Mustard Seed 5K award age divisions.
    • The age division for youth athletes, ages 18 & under, are determined by the year of birth. For example, if the youth athlete is 12 years old on the day of the race, but has a birthday later in the year, their age division will be 13-14.
    • The age division for open/masters athletes, ages 19+, are determined by age on the day of the event.
  • Award medals to the Top 3 in each age division / gender. Award medals will be presented about 40 minutes after the start of the race; you will need to pickup your award medals at the event, they will not be mailed to you. You can designate someone to pickup your award medal on your behalf.

  • Saturday, August 1st from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Runners may also pick up their bibs the morning of the race starting at 7:00 am.

Course Map

  • The Cauley Creek Course is a USATF Certified 5K Course (GA24020WC) and a AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Course measured using shortest possible route (SPR).

  • Cauley Creek Park features a 3.1-mile rubberized trail, constructed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program, is one of the first in the southeast, further enhancing Johns Creek as a leader in health, wellness, and innovation. Along the trail, you’ll find views of the Chattahoochee River, sports courts, athletic fields, playground, and open park space. The trail also leads across the Rogers Bridge pedestrian crossing over the Chattahoochee River into Rogers Park in Duluth/Gwinnett County.

Mustard Seed Communities began in 1978 as a home for children with disabilities on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica. Today, Mustard Seed Communities provides loving and lifelong care to over 600 children and adults with disabilities, children affected by HIV, and young mothers in crisis across Jamaica, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. Inspired by the healing and caring Ministry of Jesus Christ, we aim to uplift the most vulnerable members of society, especially disabled and abandoned children, and marginalized.
