USATF Officials - Electronic Distance Measuring (EDM) Clinic

Announcing an Electronic Distance Measuring (EDM) Clinic to be held on Saturday January 25, 2020 hosted by Berry College in Rome, GA.

All current USATF GA Association Certified Officials are invited to attend an EDM Certification Clinic hosted by Berry College and instructed by Mr. George Leaf -- USATF official from the Kentucky Association and one of only ten Electronic Measurement Judges in the U.S.

The clinic will be held in the Cage Center/Krannert Center (and at Dickey Field on Sunday for a hands-on training session) on the Berry College campus. The classroom portion of the EDM clinic will be on Saturday from 9:00am -- 4:00pm. The fee is $75. Lunch is on your own, there is a Chic-fil-A and Subway sandwich shop on-campus. Note: the EDM clinic is limited to a class size of 14, first come/first served.

Mr. Leaf will also lead an optional hands-on EDM field training session (for paid attendees from Saturday) from 3:30 - 5:30pm at Dickey Field on the Berry College Campus following the certification clinic. The field session will focus on marking/measuring throws for EDM and includes an introduction to/working with the 'Total Station' and Electronic Distance Recording (EDR).
