In preparation for the 2022 USATF Junior Olympic series we will host weekly conference calls.

When: Wednesdays at 9:00 pm ET
    Conference Line: 605-468-8818
    Conference Code: 8680132

    Information on Waivers

Waivers allowing athletes to advance through the Junior Olympic qualifying process are granted under extreme circumstances and are issued at the discretion of the Youth Executive Committee. Waivers may be considered for the following:
    • SAT/ACT Testing
    • Death of immediate family member, or
    • A valid academic obligation
    • New Balance Invitational (Championship divisions only)
Injuries or medical excuses are not eligible for waiver consideration.

All waivers require supporting documentation and must be submitted to the Youth Executive Committee prior to the meet entry deadline using THIS GOOGLE FORM.
    • If waiver is approved, athletes are still required to register (athletic.net) for their events and pay for entries in the meet for which they are requesting a waiver.
    • If athletes are not registered online in Athletic.net and meet fees are not paid, athletes cannot be advanced to the next round in the Junior Olympic series.

    Age Verification

See the USATF National website for additional information regarding the Youth program.

Certain USATF meets require that event registrants be date-of-birth verified. Members are required to upload/submit their birthdate verification documents while completing their membership profile on the USATF Connect system.

    DOCUMENT SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Documents submitted for birthdate verification will be processed within five (5) business days of submission (excluding holidays). It is the responsibility of the registrant to assure submission in a timely manner to meet entry deadlines.

    HOW TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS
Birthdate verification documents must be uploaded through USATF Connect. If a document is illegible it will be invalidated and will not be processed. Invalidated documents will not result in an extension of the submission deadline. No extension will be granted for invalidated documents that require re-submission. The processing period will remain in effect. Birthdate verification documents will remain a permanent part of the member profile and will not require re-submission. Documents/data provided to USATF will be hosted on a secure platform in the USATF Connect system. Association Officers/Employees that are permitted to view membership information within the system are required to submit the mandated USATF Data Protection Policy Agreement or will be denied access.

    ACCEPTED DOCUMENTS
